PLEASE HELP! I dont think that invisalign is cosmetic .

Will Medical cover invisalign ????
Usually not, you need to check anyways because invisalign only works on certain kinds of teeth misalignment, obviously it can't do much more than kinda just push them into place, if you need to scoot them around or pull them out of the way of other teeth or anything like that, they probably won't do
Reply:The only people that will know is your insurance. Give them a call and ask them. You might be able to find what you're looking for on the web. I have Regence and didn't know if something was covered so I e-mailed them and they got back to me the next morning.
Reply:No, I don't think so because Invisalign is more expensive.
Reply:Invisalign is considerably more expensive than the old braces. I had them on my daughter for almost a yr at which my dental insurance was covering. However, she decided to just put the regular braces on after always having to remove them to eat which was an annoyance. I'm sure Medi-Cal won't pay for them unless it's written up as a medical necessity.
Reply:sadly no, and I'm in ur case right now too! I have to get braces but I dread them!! I asked a lot of doctors if medical could cover it but they said no :(

but it's okay bcuz u'll have way better results with regular braces! GOOD LUCK! :D
Reply:I'm getting invisalign. and i don't have western dental but my dental charges the same for both invisalign and metal braces
