Invisalign or Braces?

I'm 26 years old and I thinking about getting invisalign or braces to close the space of the top front tooth. Which one should I go with? and around how much does it cost to get braces ? what about invisalign?

Get braces my friend has invisaline and i have braces, invisiline turns yellow-ish and she brushes w/ major whitening stuff 24/7 its kinda gross. lol.
Reply:get braces, because invisalign moves them a little, but it takes much longer and they usually move back within a few years. braces move the roots so they will usually stay in place. also braces are cheaper!!
Reply:braces are more convineient. Invisalign can sometimes be too much of a hassle. also, ask your orthodontist about non metal braces. non metal is less noticable.
Reply:braces are so much better, i highly recommend them, invisalign really depends on your teeth not everyone can get them, and if not the metal braces you can always get the ceramic braces which kind of blend in with your teeth so, if not there is always ceramic!
Reply:i have invisalign and i love it. my teeth arent yellow, and the trays are almost invisible. nobody knew i had them unless i've told them. im also closing a gap i had on top right in front. im at the point in my life where i really really wanted it closed but not willing to wear those ugly braces for so long. this was the perfect solution. hope this helps! oh and a retainer is required after having any kind of braces. so if you;re not wearing it then that's why the teeth go back to the way they were. the price was 5000, but insurance took care of everything but 1800.
