Invisalign...pls help?

i want to get invisalign from india, hw long will i need to put it? and will i need to see a dentist here? if so, can it be a normal dentist? or will it have to b an indian dentist? or a dentist spcialised in invisalign.

Invisalign...pls help?
Invisalign is usually done by an orthodontist (dentist who specializes in braces) as you will need to be seen for an evaluation (xrays, and models of your teeth) prior to treatment. In addition, you will be monitored throughout the whole process as the orthodontist will be giving you the new invisalign trays to wear as you progress in treatment. Here is the website link so you can attempt to search for a dentist -

Good luck!

Reply:just make sure it's covered by insurance

some companies refuse to cover it because it's considered "cosmetic" (alternative to braces)
Reply:The only dentists who can provide you with invisalign have to be trained by the company first. Once they are trained they can check you to see if you are even a candidate. Not all people can use the invisalign program. After you have been screened, you have to see your dentist on a regular basis so they can check your progress to make sure that things are going in the right direction. Also, you will only get 3 aligners at a time, which work for about 6 weeks. So, while i dont know what is offered in India, you can go to the invisalign website and find a dentist.
