Invisalign questions. I already have them and was wondering...?

I have invisalign and I finished the bottom teeth trays and still have 2 top trays but I am not 100% satisfied with the bottom, I havent talked to my ortho about it yet but do you think they'd order me more trays or do anything about it?? any experiences? invisalign is amazing! but I think i need a couple of more trays





Also, no retainers after right?

You must discuss this promptly with your orthodontist. My understanding is that if there is an error in the prescription they will allow fabrication of new aligners. But just what the lab considers an error I cannot say. But you must immediately have a sit-down with the orthodontist and try to communicate exactly what it is that you are not happy with. If you can't get this across to the orthodontist, there is no way they are going to be able to make new aligners to give you what you want.


I would say that almost all the time, you will need retainers after Invisalign treatment. The retainers will look exactly like your final set of aligners, except that they will be made of a heavier-guage plastic.
