Invisalign issue?

I'm going through the whole Invisalign process now. 3 weeks in. My 2nd aligner, I put in 3 days ago. Since then, I've been getting this sore throat/nausea/heartburn. And then I thought, could I be having some type of reaction to this aligner? They probably put something on it when they make it(disinfectant)? And I didn't brush it with toothpaste before I first put it in. Anyone have this happen who was on Invisalign or know if it's possible?





Can you clean the aligners with denture cleaner(Efferdent)? I've heard you can...

Invisalign issue?
I have invisalign but haven't had anything like that. I have had headaches (from teeth moving) but that's about it. You should just clean them with your regular toothpast. If you use mouth wash or efferdent that has color in it, it could turn the trays light blue or dye them. If the efferdent you use is clear then go for it. As for the heartburn and nausea, it doesn't sound like the trays would cause it but I would contact your orthodontist and see what he says.
