What is the difference between invisalign and the color white braces?
INVISALIGN IS A TRAY THAT FITS OVER THE TEETH SNUGLY AND YOU CAN HARDLY SEE IT. IT ONLY CORRECTS MINOR TOOTH MOVENTS. TOOTH COLOR BRACES ARE NORMAL BRACES EXCEPT TEH COLOR OF YOUR TOOTH SO IT IS NOT AS EASY TO SEE THEM. THESE CAN DO ANY KIND OF TOOTH MOVEMENT. THEY ARE MORE OR LESS THE SAME PRICE. ID GO TOOTH COLOR BRACES.
Reply:They put colored bands over the brackets. I always picked gray, because the white bands make your teeth look yellow. You could also ask for clear brackets.
Reply:If you cannot get invisalign braces and you won't something less noticeable you can get ceramic (clear) braces. Here is a link to the ceramic braces website to see how they look.

As far as colors, here is a link to a site where you can actually select the different colors on braces to see how they look.

Reply:Invisiline is a series of clear acrylic trays made to fit over the teeth, they are removable, braces are not (until the orthodontist removes them, of course.)

They are made to move the teeth slightly with each new tray (which are worn for several months until the desired movement has been accomplished.) If your case is dificult and cannot be corrected with invisiline, there are clear or tooth colored ceramic braces that look nicer that the traditional metal braces.

Just ask your orthodontist what is available to you and will work for your partricular correction--he/she will be more than happy to discuss the options.

If you do have traditional braces placed there are many colors of elastics to decorate your smile with--usually the assistant placing them will let you choose the colors you want from what she has available.
Reply:Invisalign are retainer-like braces that are normally used in small cases such as slight crowding. Many orthodontist don't recommend invisalign for most cases. They are extremely hard to notice unless you are up close to the person.

Ceramic Braces, also known as clear braces, are like traditional braces and normally cost about the same price as the traditional silver. They are stain resistant but the ligatures that hold the metal wire to the bracket have a tendency to stain when you eat foods such as red pasta sauce, but these are changed at your monthly visit. They are hard to notice from a distance and in photographs.

Your orthodontist will explain to you the pros and cons of each at your initial visit.
