Does Invisalign work?

I've seen the commercials about Invisalign, and I'm getting braces soon, but I'm wondering if Invisalign really works and makes your teeth straighter.

yes but it's a long process. Invisalign is a system of retainers that eventually straighten out your teeth. You go through several retainers before you see results. After I had braces I had retainers similar to those of Invisalign, and they were obnoxious and you can't eat with them in. Braces are easier.

Reply:I've been wearing invisalign braces for a year now and my teeth are a bit straighter but not what they were suppose to be at this time. They predicted i would be wearing them for a year and a half but at this rate i would say definetly over 2 years. If i could go back i would just get regular braces.





With invisalign you literally have to brush and floss your teeth after every meal, which really becomes a hassel. The only thing you can put in your mouth with them in is water. It is a very cool concept but its longgggggg and regular braces work faster and better to be honest. I have to wear my braces 20-22 hours a day which is really hard to do if i have to keep flossing and brushing, and i dont care what people say they are NOT that comfortable.

Reply:They only work if you have the self dicipline to brush your teeth after every meal and actually put them back in. When I first got mine, I didn't want to put them back in becuase they hurt so bad for the first few days.
