Invisalign?

Has anyone ever had it?


If so, could you send me a before and after picture, an estimate on how much it cost, and how long you had to have them for? Please and thanks.

Reply:I'm getting my first tray tomorrow. The whole course of treatment for me is supposed to take 10 months for my upper and lower teeth. I don't have pictures to show, but my teeth aren't real straight, that's for sure.





You have to make sure you're a candidate for it though. If you have a seriously messed up grill, you'll probably have to go with braces. I just have crowding problems and my teeth just don't line up real well. But, there's no huge gaps.





The cost for mine is $3500 total. That's actually pretty good for Invisalign. I've seen them all the way up to $6000. What appeals to me about it is I can take the trays out if I have to. You can't with regular braces. And while I doubt it's completely invisible, it seems better than the metal. And I've played a lot of sports so it'll be like wearing a mouthpiece. They give it to adults more than kids because with Invisalign, it's up to the patient to get really good results. You're supposed to keep the trays in all the time except to eat and brush your teeth.
