Invisalign?

I was wondering if they work or not and if they are too much of a hassle. because i dont want braces.

Invisalign?
Invisalign only works if you need slight adjustments to your teeth. If you have a bad overbite, gaps, or bad teeth crowding, I would not suggest invisalign. Going with regular braces will give you a much better smile. And once it's over with, you'll be happy with your decision.

But if your teeth aren't that bad, invisalign would be a great idea. Some people might notice that you have them, but they are much less noticeable than metal braces.

Good luck.
Reply:i had invisalign- my orthodontist gave them to me as a form of retainer after i had braces- i didn't like them- they aren't as transparent as they look on tv- you can tell that you're wearing them- and they are very uncomfortable
Reply:Invisalign works great. And nobody will know that you have them.

You get them changed every 2 weeks, just as you would get regular braces tightened.
Reply:My ortho. said that those type of braces stain easily, so it looks like you didnt brush your teeth well. So i got regular braces and my teeth are getting straighter.

Take care

Reply:Contrary to what some people think, Invisalign can take on more than just minor crowding. I've seen 100's of fantastic results in our patients, more than a few with dramatic changes.

Many orthodontists are prejudiced against the product since they allowed general dentists to provide it. Talk to a qualified provider to see if your case is suitable.
Reply:i know people who loved it! and it did work!
Reply:IF YOU ARE FORGETFUL OR CAN'T DEAL WITH THE DISCOMFORT OF HAVING PRESSURE ON YOUR TEETH, DON'T GET INVISALIGN. THE VERY NATURE OF ANY MANNER OF ORTHODONTICS WILL ALWAYS CAUSE PRESSURE ON TEETH. INVISALIGN MAKES HYGIENE MUCH EASIER. JUST REMOVE THEM AND FLOSS -- UNLIKE STANDARD BRACES.
Reply:Invisalign can work for many types of malocclusions (aka not strait teeth/gaps), thousands of people each year get Invisalign, and most are very happy with the results.

Most Invisalign patients don't report much staining. Also, since you generally receive a new aligner set every two weeks, if they did become stained for some reason, it is not permanent.

Many Invisalign providers will give you a free consultation to find out if Invisalign can work with your situation. If not, there are other alternatives to braces as well, although Invisalign is probably your best bet if you can do it.
