Will Invisalign close gaps completely?

I'm considering getting Invisalign to close some of the gaps in my top row of teeth. My teeth are straight and don't need to be rotated at all, there are simply some minor gaps that I want closed. I've heard from some people that Invisalign won't get you teeth as perfect as metal braces will. Are there any dentists out there who can tell me if Invisalign will close gaps between teeth as well as metal braces can?

Will Invisalign close gaps completely?
Invisalign should work fine to close your minor gaps. Keep in mind that if you get to the end of your treatment and are not satisfied with the results, your orthodontist can send in your updated pictures and do a case revision to focus on the area that you are not satisfied with. We have done revisions for a few of our patients.

You should also consider that if your bite is off (if you have an overbite, underbite or crossbite) that braces will be the recommended route for treatment.

Hope that answers your question.

Reply:Invisalign is effective. The problem with it is if you don't get a retainer your teeth could possibly shift back to having spaces.
Reply:my friend has a gap and i guess her otho took her braces off too early. invisialign doesnt really hlep her hold that gap. i dont think invisialign is effective in closing up gaps. especially big ones. just face it, braces fo yo face
