Does Invisalign remove overbites too?

i'm considering Invisalign. I have minor spacing problems. A dentist in the past told me its nothing big and would only need them for about 8-10 months, if it even goes to that long.

anyways, i was told i have grinding teeth problem, minor. i heard invisalign helps with overbites. thus fixing the grinding problem. does invisalign fix overbites? and, does it cost extra?

A dentist estimated it would cost me $8500. but obviously was ripping me off. another told me $4500. not bad.

i have an appointment tomorrow where the price is expected to be around $3700.

everything you said i have to. but you no some on told me that invisalign doesn't work for overbites.but you really need to fix the grinding because my denist didn't and now i have to get invisalign ( 3500) and veeners ( 5700) thanks to the grinding.
Reply:Well, if you have already got an invisalign quote from an orthodontist, then it will at least IMPROVE your overbite. Invisalign does not move the teeth like regular braces - it more or less tilts them into place as opposed to moving the roots like metal braces. And invisalign can cost THOUSANDS of dollars more. It just depends on your bite and what the orthodontist recommends.

And even regular braces sometimes will not stop grinding. If you are grinding, you may want to ask your dentist about a mouthguard and they can custom fit one for you. Otherwise, try with the braces or invisalign!! Good luck! :)
