Invisalign for bottom teeth only.??

My dentist recommended invisalign for my bottom teeth, instead of just a retainer. my four front teeth on the bottom are a little crowded and crooked, but the invisalign costs like $3,000 and i'm not sure if my mom's insurance covers it. :\ is there any other way to get them straightened that doesn't cost as much. or does anyone recommend invisalign or know someone who it has worked for? please %26amp; thanks!

Invisalign for bottom teeth only.??
invisalign is probably the "ideal" treatment for your situation. However, there are some types of retainers that are able to correct slight movements. As for it working, I have seen it work on many people, the key being that you have to wear it about 23 hrs a day. Those that have had an issue are the people who dont wear it like they should. The same would be true for the retainer also. It is up to you. Usually insurance doesnt care if it is invisilign or not, but most only cover braces once.
Reply:Regular braces are usually cheaper than Invisalign, but Invisalign is worth the money. It sucks that it is so expensive though.
Reply:ehhhmm, i'd say go for the retainer.
Reply:Invisalign is the safest and most reliable way to treat this. However, depending on how crooked or misaligned your bottom teeth are there are retainers"active retainers"that are able to move your teeth slightly and after that you can continue wearing your new "passive retainer" to maintain the bite. Always remember to wear your retainers at night or the problem will return. Good luck
Reply:I reccomend getting the regular braces. They easier. The invisalign doesn't always work. Most people that get them end up having to get regular braces anyway. Even though you can't see the invisalign it might take longer for your teeth to straighten out. Hope this helps!!
