Invisalign?

I just got Invisaligns but I heard they don't work well and I'm scared they won't straighten my teeth. Has anyone gone through the whole process and did it straighten your teeth? And also, the back plastic is cutting into my tongue, will I get use to this or how should I fix it? Thanks...

I haven't gone through it, but my girlfriend has.... as a matter of fact, she is still in the final stages.





it will hurt at first. The piece has to 'loosen' your teeth before they get set into the right place.


She had the same problem of the inside part cutting her gums. She ended up cutting a bit of it off and filing it down to smooth the edge.


As long as you don't cut into it so badly that you affect the structure and form, you shouldn't have a problem.


Just make sure you don't take off the first brace too many times or for too long. I know it will hurt, but stick with it. You'll see results.
