Question about Invisalign?

I went to the dentist and he told two tooth needs fixing but my other teeths are perfect. For invisalign, I have to pay 2, 248.





How much is the least amount of money you have to pay for invisalign? I feel like my teeth is perfect but it just needs just a little bit of fixing in the front.

It is a lot of money...you may be able to get braces for the same price and at least you will know they work. I use invisaligns as my retainers, but they didn't cost me anything because after I got my braces off my doctor just gave me them (they were included in the price of my braces). Usually you pay the money up front. I know that they don't always work because I've seen many people have to get braces after they tried the Invisalign. That's my opinion. You could see some other dentists for other price quotes, but from my knowledge it's pretty expensive.
Reply:Even though there are only a few teeth that need fixing, you need to understand that more than likely you have spacing issues. (ie. lack of space). In order to make more space you will need to work with all your teeth not just the two teeth that are misaligned. As a matter of fact, invisalign will require your dentist to make many appliances during the course of the treatment to continue to move your teeth as they realign. The expense will be high but well worth it.

LAST TIME I CHECKED IT WAS ABOUT $1,550 (USA) FOR THE PARTIAL ARCH TREATMENT. THE DENTIST MUST PAY THIS BILL UP FRONT TO THE LAB BEFORE THE LAB WILL START THE CASE.
Reply:The up-front costs are high, because the provider has to pay Align to process your case and manufacture your trays. But the cost of treatment (monthly visits) is set by the individual provider, so the cost depends on who you see.





Consider seeing a orthodontist. You may have other options, like a spring retainer or limited treatment, with braces, for a short period of time (unless you are completely opposed to braces).

Reply:That price is about right for the product. Invisalign is only used on patients that require little amounts of correction, which seems like you would fit the case. Most offices can put the amount on a payment plan and most insurances cover about half the amount.
