Am I receiving Invisalign Express treatment?

I recently paid for the full Invisalign treatment, ($5000) and I just started my first trays; I have a total of 10 trays.

Am I receiving the Invisalign express treatment? What exactly is the difference between the two treatments...there are conflicting ideas on the internet, and the receptionists at the othrodontist were clueless.

I will most likely speak to the ortho himself next time I go in, but that will not be for another 6 weeks, so any info would be appreciated!!

You do not have to wait until your next appointment to speak with your orthodontist. He or she should be available to answer questions whenever you have them. Call, and ask for the dentist to call you back.

Normally, an "express" or limited case means 10 or fewer aligners. It is possible the dentist only gave you some of the trays, and eventually you will receive more than 10 in total.

Either way, if you have doubts about what you were charged, you should speak to the dentist or someone in the business staff. Don't wait.
Reply:i think 7 trays up is considered full treatment.
Reply:THERE IS A SEQUENCE AND AN ORDER OF FITTING THE TRAYS. THE OTHER TRAYS WON'T FIT UNTIL YOU'VE DONE THE OTHERS FIRST.

REMEMBER TO WAIT 2-3 WEEKS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSERT SUBSEQUENT TRAYS. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.

I'M SURPRISED THE DENTIST DIDN'T EXPLAIN THIS TO YOU AND THAT HE LET YOU HAVE !0 TRAYS JUST LIKE THAT.

AS AN EXAMPLE 10 TRAYS = 1 TRAY EVERY 3 WEEKS = 30 WEEKS OF TREATMENT.
