This is just a curious question. I know your dentist has to let you know whether you are eligible to use invisalign, but I was wondering if anyone knew this off the top of their head.
I think I have a really small cavity on my back tooth; I was just wondering if I got it filled first than can invisalign can still move your teeth straight?
Can you use invisalign if you have a fillings?
I'm currently using invisalign and I've had fillings done while using the braces. Fillings shouldn't mess with your teeth to the point of changing the shape of your teeth and if they do it's time to find a new dentist.
But seeing how you plan to have the problem fixed before you even go for invisalign, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. They take impressions of your teeth to make the braces and a filling would not in any way prevent the invisalign from making your teeth straight.
Reply:I'm currently using Invisalign and I think and I'm sure that everyone could use It but then again I'm not a dentist.
Just call a dentist office and ask them you'll definetly get an accurate answer from them.
Good luck!
Reply:Take care of the cavities first, then you can do the Invisialign. Because the retainers are based off of an initial impression, if your tooth changes (such as fillings), then the dentist will have to take another impression and get a whole new set of retainers.
