Cost of braces/invisalign?

I live on Long Island, and I need braces. I'm a 14 year old actor, and my teeth definitely need to be straighter. my dentist recommended invisalign, but I would like to know which is more costly? how much does it cost to get regular braces, and how much does it cost to get invisalign?

I think invisalign is a bit more expensive, it would also depend on what your parents insurance will cover, check with your orthodontist at your first meeting tell him your concerns and what you would like ... invisalign also may not be available for teenagers.
