Invisalign--Is there anything negative I should be aware of?

I will be starting with Invisalign in a couple weeks. Is there anything bad about them? Any side effects? Are they uncomfortable? Are they easy to get used to?

Invisalign--Is there anything negative I should be aware of?
Hi, the only problem I encountered was that you REALLY do have to brush your teeth after eating, because of the way Invisalign works even the smallest spot of food can eventually cause cavities... On the bright side, this promotes really good oral hygiene!

(Eventually, when I have no possible way to brush my teeth, I wash out my aligners and rinse my mouth with water and then Listerine.) Good luck! You must be super excited.
Reply:#1 thing is: Invisalign takes longer to move your teeth than traditional braces do! There are no side effects, and they are not uncomfortable. All my patients enjoy them. And another thing is when you have a recall you have to deal with a tiny little dot of tooth colored resin on your back teeth, (it's where the clear tray snaps in on your back teeth.) Enjoy!
Reply:Yes, htey are uncomfortable. You have to take care of them A LOT. It's not recommended for undre 14 years old. Invisalign basically sucks, metal braces are 3495897435 times better. You have to take out invisalign every time you eat and brush your teeth after EVERY SINGLE LITTLE THING you eat, like even a sip of coke. Invisalign stains...a lot. It costs more, and it barely does anything at all. It is basically a wastre of money. It can't fix your bite, and it fixes crooked teeth in mroe time than regular braces, Plus, it hurts to put them back in your mouth.
