Invisalign!!! Help!!!!!?

Are invisalign only for adults? I'm 14 turning 15 in september and I want to get them because I only have my 2 front teeth crooked and 1 bottem tooth. So I was wondering if I could get them or not?? Also are they like $5,000 for all the years you have to wear them or you have to pay like per month or something??

Thanks!!!

Invisalign!!! Help!!!!!?
I've looked into this a bit. They are for any age. An orthodontist would have to see your teeth and tell you if it's a good choice. Sometimes if the teeth are too crooked or have other problems then the dentist will recommend traditional braces. My cousin had invisalign for a year and they didn't help, she eventually had to get regular braces. I'm not sure on the price. They have a website, www.invisalign.com. You can take a little quiz there to see if invisalign is right for you.
Reply:THE REASON WHY INVISALIGN IS FOR ADULTS IS BASICALLY TWOFOLD.

#1 ADULTS HAVE STOPPED HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT WISDOM TEETH COMING IN, WHICH MOST GET BETWEEN 17-24 YEARS.

#2 THERE IS A VERY HIGH OUT OF POCKET PRICE WHICH IS NOT PAID BY INSURANCE THAT HAS TO BE PAID BEFORE YOU GET INVISALIGN.

FOR TEENAGERS TRADITIONAL BRACES ARE GOOD.
Reply:I work for an orthodontist and we have few invisalign patients. The reason we have few is because we do not feel that invasalign is the best way to go. Your best bet would be to have a consult w/ an otrhodontist and see what they reccommend. If you truly only have a total of 3 front teeth that are crooked your problem could easily be solved w/ retainers which are MUCH cheaper than invasalign or braces. Ivasalign sounds great on paper but to be honest and if it were my mouth and I had to choose between braces and invasalign I would choose braces. The outcome is just far more better. Another option you may or may not know about would be to have ceramic braces, they are tooth color and don't stand out as much as the metal braces do. I hope I have helped some but I do think you will get the best avdive from actually talking to as orthodontist:)
