Invisalign question from someone who's just started treatment?

Just got my 1st aligners. The upper one fits good. The bottom one, as soon as they tried to put it in, fit like crap. It didn't go all the way on. It's just off. It doesn't even cover the entire front bottom teeth. There's a gap in the plastic and the tooth so all this spit builds up there too. Orthodontist told me to try it out and see if it will fit well otherwise they might have to do new impressions.

I'm about done with the bottom one. It sucks, cuts up my lip, and doesn't even feel like it's working. The top one fits snug and feels like it's at least on.

Should I call the orthdontist right away? Because I'm about done with the bottom one. And, anyone else done both upper and lower Invisalign? When I had it in, seems like it's kinda tough talking normally. Anyone have that? And, with the upper one, seems like my teeth hurt less when the aligner is in, I take it out to brush/eat, putting it back in makes it sore again. Why? Some advice would be great...

Sounds like there was a problem with the impression. Any time you move teeth, it will hurt, but the devices causing that pain should fit well. It sounds like this one doesn't.

As to the pain you encounter when inserting or removing, or changing after the appliance being out of the mouth, don't worry. Tooth movement causes inflammation associated with bone destruction and deposition. Totally normal.
Reply:Talk to your orthodontist. You are paying them enough for them to be able to answer ANY Q at any time of the day.
