Does Invisalign work?

I have 2 crooked front teeth next to my 2 front teeth, does anybody know if Invisalign will work?

Reply:welllll the short answer is "probably" ....the long answer is: maybe, but with conditions. if it's just some mild crowding , invisalign is pretty good; if it's more severe it won't work as well, in my opinion...also, there's some controversy over whether the results are as long term as conventional braces. pretty much ANY orthodontic changes will require long term retainer use , as teeth really want to go BACK to whereever they were....


you'll have to ask an orthodontist to be sure; they'll need models of your teeth and to take a good look at them to assess the prognosis of invisalign or whatever.

Reply:Invisalign has come a long way in the last few years, and can fix most problems. That being said, you would have to check with an orthodontist whether or not they can do the work with invisalign. Check out their website and find a dentist in your area that does a lot of work with it, as the more complicated the treatment will be, the more experience you want them to have. If it is just the two front teeth that are the major concern, then they are probably able to do it, as crowding is a fairly common and simple orthodontic problem to fix
