Invisalign! Help?

I am really unconformable with my teeth. They aren't HORRIBLE, but I have an overbite,and the front teeth in my bottom row are kind of crooked (they look kind of like they are bunched together like there isn't enough room hah). I am 14 years old. I DO NOT want braces I want invisalign, so I was wondering how hard is it to get like accepted to get them? A specialist has to approve that you get them and I'm worried I won't get approved?!

Invisalign! Help?
Invisalign is for Class I malocclusions with mild/moderate spacing or crowding of 1-6mm.

It is not for:

1. Teeth with short crowns;

2. Class I malocclusions with greater than 1-6mm spacing or crowding;

3. Class 2 and Class 3 malocclusions. If you have an overbite then this may include you - sorry.

4. Severely rotated teeth;

5. Open bites;

6. Severely tipped teeth;

7. Closing extraction spaces.

So Invisalign doesn't handle the difficult cases. Go and get an orthodontic opinion - it's the only way to know for sure.
Reply:Invisalign is not for everyone. A dentist will have to look at your teeth to see if you would even benefit from them. No one on this will be able to say whether or not you can use them without actually seeing your teeth. Sorry
Reply:Yeah... what he said.
Reply:Invisalign isn't for everyone. A dentist or orthodontist needs to evaluate your needs before deciding if traditional braces or Invisalign would be best for you. I'm not sure if Invisalign would be recommended due to your age. The last dentist I worked for would not recommend Invisalign for someone as young as you. But you should have your parents make you an appointment for a consultation with your dentist or orthodontist. Orthodontics, whether it is traditional braces or Invisalign, can cost anywhere between $3000 and $6000.
