I am currently using the Invisalign braces, I'll have them for eight months, but after I'm finished how long will I have to wear the final retainer? Is it something I have to wear forever and how often?

YOU CAN WEAR THEM FULL TIME FOR HALF OF YOUR TREATMENT TIME AND THEN FOR NIGHTS ONLY FOR THE OTHER HALF.
SO IN YOUR CASE YOU WEAR RETAINERS FULL TIME 4 MONTHS AND THEN 4 MONTHS AT NIGHT ONLY. THEREFTER YOU CAN JUST WEAR THEM ONCE A WEEK TO CHEK IF THEY FIT, IT THEY FEEL TIGHT IT MEANS TEETH MOVED, SO YOU MUST INCREASE THE WEAR TIME OF YOUR RETAINERS UNTIL THEY FIT WELL AGAIN
Reply:I have the clear retainers. My orthodontist told me to wear mine all the time for two monthes unless i'm eating. But it all depends on whether or not your teeth have moved majorly and how long you wore the first braces. Hope This Helps and good luck. I know what you're going through!
