Invisalign bracets?

i am thinking of getting the invisalign bracets. Is it really working? and is it really expensive?

Invisalign bracets?
If your case is SUITABLE for Invisalign, it works wonderfully well - as long as you do your part and wear them (almost) 24/7. Any dentist doing Invisalign has to be certified to use them and should be capable of making the diagnosis of whether or not to use them. If Invisalign was suggested to you, then it should work for your case.

I would not say that Invisalign is better or worse than braces, because it depends on the case. There is no set answer. After a few minutes of wearing them, your speech will sound just fine. They are very thin and pretty much exactly the same shape as your teeth. They do tend to increase the amount of saliva in your mouth at first, but you soon get used to that and the salivary flow seems to slow back to normal after a while, also.

In my rural South Jersey general practice, I charge $3,000 for most Invisalign cases, which is less than traditional braces in most cases. I have heard that some charge more for Invisalign than they do for braces, though. The thing is, I am not a specialist and I choose to do only "easy" cases that will not require extra devices to be used in conjunction with Invisalign. This can add to the fee significantly.
Reply:They are slightly exspensive but are really worth it and do a great job!
Reply:My mom has them. I'm not sure how much they cost. Somewhere in the hundreds I would estimate. They help my moms teeth a lot. They give you 2 pairs, one 2 wear like 1week, then another 2 wear another week. You keep switching them every week. My moms has only had them for like a month, and shes already seen results. If I were you, I would get them.
Reply:There is another one like that called orthoclear which is cheaper and yes it works...I just got them
Reply:They work without the normal metalworks of braces. The regular braces move your teeth by wiring them together and then tightening the connections. The metal can cut the inside of your mouth and make it hard to floss. You can be self-conscious about your braces. The invisalign braces move the teeth, but differently. They are a retainer that you must wear all the time (except for eating and brushing) that push the teeth by changing the liners to a tighter fit. People can't tell you're wearing braces, except the first few days of a new change when you talk funny because of adjusting to the plastic. Depending on the problem, they can last as long as regular braces. I believe they cost less than braces. They really work.
Reply:Ok, do you mean invisalign braces or ceramic brackets, the invisalign is like a teeth mold that sits over your teeth and gradually moves them in to place, every few weeks you will be given a new and this is how it straightens your teeth. Please understand that invisalign braces are not good for severely crooked teeth or for closing large gaps where teeth may have been removed. Your orthodontist will advise you of this, so if your teeth are quite crooked then your best bet would be to go with the ceramic braces they are a few thousand dollars cheaper and work for all problems. I was quoted about $7,000 for invisalign and i am paying $4,000 for ceramic braces, so you can see the difference! Talk to your orthodontist and he will tell you which is best for you.... Good luck!
