Invisalign, how much does it cost and how well does it work?

I am planning on getting invisalign because i have a small gap between my front two teeth. I am 16,but i don't want to get braces. I was wondering if someone could give me a estimate?

Also, as a hygienist I notice people's teeth alot, but the other day I had lunch with someone I don't see often and didn't even notice she had them. After I saw her take them out in the bathroom I was surprised and she is very very happy so far.

Reply:Invisalign works great for small imperfections. It's typically used more often in adults, but you sound like a good candidate.





It works very well when used properly, and costs about the same as normal braces.





If there are any other problems with jaw alignment though - problems only a dentist can see, you might need braces anyway.
Reply:Your dental insureance covers some but not all of it. Im in the process of getting my invisalign and its a really cool process and they can do almost anything, fixing a gap is simple if thats the only issue. should be around $3,00 or so. its a really short process, they can move around my whole mouth in 6-8months.
